Spring 2020 HOA Meeting

Dear GVEHOA member,

Spring is coming and it’s time to start thinking about board elections in Golden Valley!  In 2020 our HOA elects five (5) new or returning board members at our Association meeting in April.  This year, our meeting date will be Saturday, April 18, 2020. If you haven’t already, please mark your calendar for April 18th and plan to attend.

According to our by-laws, Directors serve for 2 year terms.  Your current Board members are Christy Bryant (President), Shannon Kinder (Vice President), Gil Zmithrovitch (Secretary), Ellen Zmithrovitch (Treasurer), and the directors are: Francis Holt, Roger Wentz, Ron Mahlman, John Hidgon, and Bruce Roberts.

This year the Board members eligible for re-election are:  Francis Holt, Shannon Kinder, Ellen Zmithrovitch, and John Higdon.  Gil Zmithrovitch has decided not to run for another term.

The nomination form is located here.  Please email your nominations to Shannon Kinder at skindersc@gmail.com, with the subject line GVEHOA Nominations and include your full name and lot number(s) in the message, no later than March 31, 2020.

Please do not nominate an individual without discussing it with him/her first to insure that they will be able to serve on the board.  Also, include a brief bio and reason as to why you think the individual you nominate will make a good board member.

For your nomination form to be considered your Association dues must be current; only one nomination form per Association fee can be accepted.  Also, the person you nominate must be a dues-paying member and be current in the payment of their dues to be eligible for election.

You may mail your nomination form to the P O Box address listed on the form.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me by phone or e-mail.  See you at the meeting.

Shannon Kinder, GVHOA Vice President
